Engine
While the new Sierra is an attractive pickup, it doesn't rely on good looks alone. Under the hood sits a 2.7-liter high-output four-cylinder engine capable of producing 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. GMC also offers a 5.8-liter EcoTec3 V-8 that generates 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes standard on midlevel trims, or you can upgrade to a 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V-8 that puts out 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. If you prefer a diesel-powered pickup, you can equip your Sierra with a 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel engine with an output of 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque.
Interior
With the New Sierra, you can choose between a three-seater regular cab, a five-seater double cab, or a five-seater crew cab. All cabins offer ample passenger space, premium seating surfaces, and distinctive accents. Available amenities include a 13.4-inch diagonal color touchscreen, a 12.3-inch driver information center, and rear-seat storage compartments.
Performance
The New Sierra is built for superior performance. The four-cylinder engine teams with an eight-speed transmission, while the other engines in the lineup pair with a 10-speed transmission. Both systems optimize engine output and efficiency while enabling smooth acceleration and effortless handling. The AT4 adds a 2-inch factory lift with off-road suspension and Rancho monotube shocks. If you go with the Denali, you'll enjoy a continuous damping adaptive ride control that makes every drive smoother and more comfortable.
