2022 Buick GX

The Buick Encore GX comes with three different trim levels to choose from: the Essence, Select, and Preferred. The Essence features 18-inch machined aluminum wheels with high gloss dark android pockets, front chrome bumpers, and body-colored door handles. The Select comes with the same tires as the Essence in addition to body-sided moldings, halogen tail lamps, and Anderson silver accent rear bumpers. The top-of-the-line Preferred trim features 18-inch bright silver-painted aluminum wheels, automatic on/off halogen headlamps, a front bumper with Anderson silver accents, and available roof-mounted side rails.

The Buick GX is available with two different power trains: The ECOTEC 1.2-liter Turbo engine and the ECOTEC 1.3-liter Turbo engine. The ECOTEC 1.2-liter Turbo engine offers 137 horsepower at 5,000 rpm, 162 pound-feet of torque, and a selectable stop/stop system to improve its economy. The ECOTEC 1.3-liter Turbo engine boasts 155 horsepower, 174 pound-feet of torque, and the same stop/start system as the first engine. The engines are paired with a continuous variable transmission for ease of use while on the road.

The 2022 Encore GX features McPherson strut front suspension and compound crank rear suspension with a turning radius of 36.8 feet, making it easy to maneuver in any position. It also comes equipped with StabiliTrak, which offers confidence on icy or unsturdy roads. The intelligent all-wheel-drive system sends power to the wheels when necessary, such as when driving on icy roads, increasing traction, and assisting in acceleration and cornering.
